MARYSVILLE, Calif. (AP) - Authorities have lifted the last evacuations near a wildfire in Northern California's Sierra Nevada foothills.
After allowing residents of about 50 homes near the Yuba County community of Dobbins to return home after 5 p.m. Tuesday, CalFire officials say there are no remaining evacuations.
During the worst of the fire burning about 70 miles north of Sacramento, the residents of more than 350 homes had been forced from their homes.
After consuming about 5.6 square miles, the blaze is 45% contained.
Fire officials expect to have the fire contained Saturday.
