A pint size golfer from Palm Desert is making national headlines. Charlie Reiter is still in elementary school but he's already a national champion.
At just a shade over 4 feet and barely 70 pounds, the 10 year old from Palm Desert has won over 30 golf tournaments in less than 4 years.
He made national headlines in September by winning the Golf Channel Amatuer Tour National championship against grown men 5 times his age.
In 2009, he won 15 tournaments and was named player of the year on the Golf Channel's Palm Springs Amatuer Tour. At the tour's national championships, he came from 3 shots back to win his division on PGA West's Stadium course in front of a national audience.
