VENTURA, Calif. (AP) - A new home for military veterans is opening in Southern California.
The 60-bed Veterans Home of California in Ventura was dedicated Friday by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and other officials.
The facility has long-term care beds for aged and disabled veterans.
Veterans will be able to move in by early January, after the facility goes through a period of review and licensing.
