Safe Ride Home

Free cab rides are offered under the "Safe Ride Home" program to prevent anyone from driving under the influence of alcohol over the holidays.

The rides will be offered one way, from 6 p.m. Thursday to 2 a.m. Friday, to local residences and hotels. There is a 15-mile limit, according to public relations coordinator Alison Elsner.

No pre-arranged rides are permitted.
