Motorcycle enthusiasts from around the United States  will enjoy the 2011 “American Heat” Motorcycle Weekend.  Palm Canyon Drive will be closed to traffic from Amado Road to Arenas Road beginning at 5:00 a.m. on Friday, October 14th and will remain closed until 9 p.m. Sunday, October 16th.   Any vehicles parked on Palm Canyon beginning at 5:00 a.m. on Friday, October 14th, will be towed at the owner’s expense.
Officers will be patrolling throughout the city for D.U.I. enforcement.
