Runners dressed up like Santa Claus are invited to participate in the 4K run/walk on Dec. 3rd in RANCHO MIRAGE, Calif. ­ This year’s Great Santa Run will take place Saturday, Dec. 3rd at the Agua Caliente Casino Resort and Spa in Rancho Mirage. Proceeds from the Great Santa Run will be used to help fund the We Care Dental Center, which provides free dental services to the developmentally disabled adults and children who have lost their state dental coverage as a result of state budget cutbacks. Following the walk/run will be a Public Awareness Rally featuring Chris Burke and the DeMasi Brothers. Chris Burke played Corky on the TV show "Life Goes On" We will feature information on various subjects relating to the Developmentally Disabled population in the Coachella Valley. School, work, activities, etc. Registration for the 4K-walk/run can be done online at www.great-santa-run.org or at www.dfddnow.org. Registrations will also be taken the day of the event between 8 and 10 a.m.
