California State San Bernardino University’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute will celebrate the start of their ninth year of enjoyable & intellectually stimulating courses for students 50 years and better on Wednesday, November 9th at CSUSB’s Palm Desert Campus. The event runs from 4 pm to 6 pm and will include music, food, refreshments, raffles, a large book sale, and a silent auction. A brief ceremony honoring instructors and volunteers will take place between 5:30 pm and 6 pm. The event will take place in the lobby of the Mary Stuart Rogers Gateway Building and the public is invited. Parking for this event is complimentary. “Last year was our first try at an event like this and it was so successful that it has now become an annual event for us,” explains Steve McAdams, Program Administrator at Cal State’s Palm Desert Campus. “The event is a combination social mixer, fundraiser and an opportunity to honor, and show our appreciation for, some long-term Osher instructors”, says McAdams.
