Local artists join Soroptimist International of La Quinta/Coachella Valley in holding the 2012 Soroptimist Art and Wine Festival at the La Quinta Civic Campus and Senior Center on Saturday, April 14, 2012. Enjoy the mellow sounds of Heatwave Jazz and Show Band while viewing a wonderful variety of works by renown local artists: beautiful landscapes and stills, ceramics, fabric art, custom jewelry designs and much, much more. There will also be a variety of wines to sample and food to purchase to round out the day. Soroptimist International of La Quinta/Coachella Valley is a professional women’s volunteer service organization that works to better the lives of women and girls in our local community. Our goals are to assist the Soroptimist House of Hope, the Ophelia Project and the Boys and Girls Club by sponsoring such events as the Art and Wine Festival.
