The 2008 World Champion of Public Speaking, LaShunda Rundles, the first African American woman to be World Champion, will give the Keynote address at the Toastmasters District 12 Spring Conference at the Doral Princess Resort, 67987 Vista Chino in Cathedral City beginning at 9:00 a.m. on May 12, 2012. Ms. Rundles from Dallas, Texas, will speak on “Authenticity and Truth!” and conduct a workshop on “Storytelling: how to deliver a powerful message, while connecting with the audience.” Ms. Rundles believes that “competing makes us challenge ourselves. That energy keeps us alive. The greatest victories, however, come in the form of changed lives. Trophies come on the big stage, but the reward of changing lives daily can transform a generation.
