“For The Record,” the Los Angeles-based live concert series that brings the movies to life as never seen before, continues a yearlong limited engagement at the Ace Hotel in Palm Springs on June 13 & 14 with “For The Record: Tarantino In Concert.” The “For The Record” series is a one-of-a-kind event that celebrates songs and moments from the body of work by a featured director. A talented troop of performers that includes a rotating ensemble of Film, Television, Record and Broadway talent come together to present this unique fusion of music, theatre and film. “For The Record: Taratino In Concert” made its world theatrical debut this year at the SXSW festival in Austin, TX at the Long Center for the Performing Arts in a 2200 seat theatre. The “For The Record” series is Conceived and Directed by Shane Scheel and Christopher Lloyd Bratten. “For The Record: Tarantino In Concert” showcases signature songs and moments from “Reservoir Dogs,” “Pulp Fiction,” “Kill Bill 1 & 2,” “Jackie Brown,” “Death Proof,” and “Inglourious Basterds.” Playlist includes hit songs such as Hooked on a Feeling, Stuck In The Middle With You, Harvest Moon, Son of a Preacher Man, Across 110th Street, Long Time Woman, Bang Bang, Satisfied Mind, Down In Mexico, Magic Carpet Ride and many more.
