Featuring Yve Evans The timeless music of Count Basie - from his haunting “April in Paris” to the high-energy “One O’clock Jump.” Big Band Swing comes to the Indian Wells Theater, where we transport the audience back to The Sands Hotel in 1966 with Count Basie and his orchestra. The All Star Big Band will play many well-known favorites, including "Basie Straight Ahead,” "Li'l Darlin'," "All Of Me" and a variety of other arrangements demonstrating the breadth of the Basie band history. Vocalist Yve Evans will sing classic Basie vocals with the Count Basie Orchestra songs of Ella Fitzgerald and Billie Holiday.
