Join Mayor Steve Pougnet and the City of Palm Springs for the 5th Annual Sustainability Celebration, held at Camelot Theatres in Palm Springs from 9am - 2pm. This free event is great for all ages and the whole family. The celebration will coincide with the Palm Springs Organic Farmers' Market and will feature a refrigerated "grocery valet" so shoppers can check their groceries; staying to enjoy exhibitions on all things organic as well as nutritional demonstrations. There will also be exhibitor booths, group exercise activities, organic food trucks and four bikes will be given away (2 adult, 2 kids). The Living Desert will be there with Wildlife on Wheels. Also, check out the alternative fuel vehicle display on site. Speakers will include Mayor Pougnet, Dr. Stephen Gundry, author of Dr. Gundry's Diet Revolution, Scott Cole, creator of the popular GET FIT AMERICA FOR KIDS and Michelle Globis, Ambassador for Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution.
