Registration is now open on the 15th annual Tour de Palm Springs. The first 10,000 registrants will be entered into a drawing to win a two-night vacation at the modern mid-century style 7,022 square foot Dinah Shore Estate, compliments of McLean Company Rentals. Local resident Tim Esser, created the famous Tour de Palm Springs which has become one of the largest bicycle ride events in the county. Since 1998 over $1,500,000 has been raised for Coachella Valley charities. Bicyclists of all levels, from recreational pleasure to advanced, are encouraged to join the annual ride to support a variety of charities with different worthy causes. Riders can select from 1, 5, 10, 25, 55 and 100 mile routes that offer food and water stops along the way. The one mile ride was added to encourage families with children to join. The 15 mile ride is also new this year.
