Jensen’s Finest Foods, Palm Springs, will hold their annual Lobster Fest, a fun and festive three-day event set for the store’s Palm Springs Smoke Tree location December 7, 8 and 9th. Lobster Fest hours are Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. until sold out. The event will take place outdoors, under a large tent in front of the store and will offer customers the option of eating in or taking meals to go for lunch or dinner. The featured attractions are whole Maine lobsters served split, cracked and fresh off the grill. The lobsters each weigh at least a pound and a quarter and the cost of a lobster meal starts at $19.99. Every meal is complete with clarified butter, lemon wedges, Confetti rice, coleslaw and a roll. Lobster Fest will benefit Guide Dogs of the Desert and event goers will have an opportunity to meet Guide Dogs of the Desert representatives and some of their puppies at an information booth staffed Friday and Saturday, from noon until 7 p.m. and on Sunday from noon to 3 p.m. Tickets for Lobster Fest may be purchased in advance at the Jensen’s Palm Springs location or at the event.
