Andy and Judy Vossler, President and Vice President of Landmark Golf, are legends in La Quinta. In 1980 Ms. Vossler joined the Landmark management staff of the historic La Quinta Hotel; by 1984 she began a decade of service as the General Manager and was actively involved in the expansion of the property into a world class resort. Andy Vossler was instrumental in Landmark’s acquisition of Mission Hills Country Club, the planning and approval process for the development of PGA West and the real estate development and operations of the La Quinta Golf and Tennis Resort where he was named Director. They will share their experiences in the golf industry. Discussion will include the history of golf in both La Quinta and the Coachella Valley, how golf course development enhances the community, notable golf tournaments in La Quinta, how La Quinta became known internationally as the western home of golf in America, and memorable and humorous stories about the living legends of golf and their impact on La Quinta.
