Sunnylands Center & Gardens, 37977 Bob Hope Drive, Rancho Mirage, presents Imperial Splendor: Celebrating the Culture Behind Cloisonné on Sunday, January 20 from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm. Free admission and activities continue throughout this, the first in a series of Third Sunday presentations planned for the 2013 season. In addition to traditional Chinese drums and calligraphy, the cultural group will perform a Lion Dance. Additional activities include lectures, storytelling, games, and arts & crafts. Performances will be presented from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on a repeating basis. This cultural day takes place on the same day as the opening of the new Sunnylands Center exhibition, Imperial Splendor: Chinese Cloisonné at Sunnylands.
