The second of four celebrity tribute concerts, this one remembering performers from the 1960s, comes to the Indian Wells Theater at Cal State San Bernardino’s Palm Desert Campus at 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 15. “Remembering the 1960s” is a 90-minute “tribute” show packed full of energy, excitement and loads of great music, as it commends four legends in pop music history – Neil Diamond, Cher, Paul Anka and Dionne Warwick. Rob Garrett portrays Neil Diamond, Cara Lee portrays Cher, Justin Shandor portrays Paul Anka and Vivian Ross-Scott portrays Dionne Warwick. Some of the hits audience members might hear, made famous by these musical legends, include: “Sweet Caroline,” “Song Sung Blue,” “Forever In Blue Jeans,” “You Don’t Bring Me Flowers,” “Love on the Rocks,” “Walk on By,” “Do You Know the Way to San Jose,” “Say a Little Prayer,” “What the World Needs Now,” “That’s What Friends Are For,” “Anyone Who Had a Heart,” “Times of Your Life,” “Puppy Love,” “Put Your Head on My Shoulders,” “Diana,” “Lonely Boy,” “It’s Time to Cry” and “You Are My Destiny.” Tickets are $35 and can be purchased by calling the Indian Wells Theater box office at (760) 341-6909. Upcoming concerts include tributes to Barbra Streisand and Frank Sinatra on Friday, March 1, at 7 p.m., and country greats Patsy Cline and Willie Nelson on Sunday, April 7, at 2 p.m. The Indian Wells Theater is located on the Palm Desert Campus of Cal State San Bernardino, 37-500 Cook St.
