"When in Rome…" is from the book written by Martin A. Follose with music and lyrics by Bill Francouer and is directed by Inland Theatre League and Desert Theater League multi-award winner, Paul Runyon. It musically follows the comic misadventures of a nerdy peasant thief, his two accomplices, a man-hating princess, and an evil Senator determined to circumvent her power. All the thief has to do to avoid being fed to the lions, win the princess' hand in marriage, and save the empire is defeat the most powerful gladiator in the land. Does the princess have enough time to train him to do that? Can he win with a song?
