Gruesome Discovery Closes Temple Sinai, Section of Hovley West
PALM DESERT - A walker early Tuesday morning made a gruesome discovery, finding a man's body hanging from a tree along Hovley West in Palm Desert. Police officers at the scene tell KMIR6 News that they are investigating it as a suicide and do not suspect any foul play.
A section of Hovley West between Avenida Estrada/Meadow Lane and Palm Court was shut down around 6:30 A.M. during the police investigation. The roadway was still closed as of 9:15 A.M. Tuesday.
The body was discovered on the property of Temple Sinai in Palm Desert. A statement from Temple Sinai was sent out early Tuesday alerting members to the police investigation and the closure of the campus, including cancellation of morning classes at The Religious School and Tikvah Pre-School.
