Traffic Now Moving after Fatal Car Crash

CATHEDRAL CITY -One person died when a truck driver hit three cars at a busy Cathedral City intersection Thursday.

The crash was reported around 9 a.m. this morning at the intersection Date Palm Drive and Ramon Road.

According to Cathedral City Police a truck ran into a Sunline bus on Date Palm, then hit a compact car, causing the compact to strike another vehicle.

The driver of the compact car 91 year-old Neil McConaghy of Tacoma, Washington was pronounced dead at a local hospital. 

The truck driver and at least one other person were taken to the hospital, the extent of their injuries are unknown.
  
Traffic is now moving at that intersection.
