Deadly Multi-Vehicle Crash Shuts Down East I-10 Traffic
Lanes are now open, but traffic is still backed up
INDIO - A deadly multi-vehicle crash has shutdown eastbound Interstate 10. The California Highway Patrol shut down all eastbound lanes of the freeway at Jefferson st. shortly after 8 a.m. this Friday morning. The crash involves a big rig and two vehicles. One person died at the scene after going into full cardiac arrest.
Two people are currently in critical condition. Two others suffered moderate to minor injuries. All were taken to Desert Regional Medical Center for treatment.
