Governor Delivers "State of the State" Address
In a speech filled with history and hopes for the future California Governor Jerry Brown delivered the annual State of the State address Thursday morning.
"The message this year is clear," the Govenor opened, "California has once again confouonded its critics. We have wrought in just two years, a solid and endearing budget. And, by God, we will persevere and keep it that way for years to come."
Governor Brown said that he is concerned that uncontrolled Federal spending will have an effec ton the state budget. He specifically mentioned items like health care, including the Affordable Health Care Act, that if unmanageed, could send the state back into a fiscal deficit
The governor spent time discussing several topics in his speech; including Education, Water, Jobs, Health Care, and High Speed Rail among others.
