After months of upgrades and retrofitting, the Palm Desert Library officially reopened on Thursday.

With Superviosrs John Benoit in attendance, the library held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to open it's doors to the public.

The upgrades include a redesigned interior, 30 new computer work stations with internet access, and over 1,500 new books.
