Christopher Dorner Confirmed Dead
The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Office has confirmed that Christopher Dorner died in a cabin fire Tuesday, following a shootout with officers.
The identification was made through the use of dental records. Dorner had holed up in a cabin near Angelus Oaks after a day that involved two separate firefights with San Bernardino County Sheriff's Deputies and other law enforcement agencies.
Dorner had been on the since the previous weekend, when he had allegedly shot and killed 26-year-old Monica Quan, and her fiance in an Orange County parking biulding.
The stand off on Tuesday ended days of gunfighting between Dorner and law enforcement that was centered around Big Bear.
