Man Arrested After Shooting Threats
DESERT HOT SPRINGS - A Cathedral City man has been arrested on multiple counts after threatening his ex-wife.
31-year-old Clarence Davis, Jr was arrested on Wednesday following allegations that he drove his ex-wife into the open desert near Desert Hot Springs and threatened to shoot the woman and her children. It was unspecified if the children were fathered by Davis. He then drove the woman to several locations in and around Desert Hot Springs before taking an unknown amount of money from her.
A Cathedral City SWAT team took Davis into custody at his home, where officers found multiple loaded weapons.
Davis was booked into Riverside County Jail.
