RANCHO MIRAGE -  The visiting Seattle Symphony took time this morning to help local school age musicians as they stopped for a concert in Rancho Mirage.

Students from Cathedral City and Desert Hot Springs were given special training by members of the 111-year old group, which is visiting Southern California for a short concert series.

Following the student sessions, the full Symphony took to the stage at Sunnylands for a scheduled 2:00 p.m. public concert.
