Holocaust Survivors Heal Through Art
RANCHO MIRAGE-- The work of a famous Los Angeles based Holocaust Survivor and Artist, Kalman Arron, was presented at the Tolerance Education Center in Rancho Mirage Thursday evening. The 90-year-old artist himself was supposed to be in attendance, but was too sick to make the trip.
But that didn't stop Holocaust survivors from acknowledging the significance of Arron's works of art. The event featured Author Susan Beilby Magee, who told Aron's story through the book, INTO THE LIGHT: The Healing Art of Kalman Aron.
Aron's artwork is on display throughout the United States, Great Britain, Sweden and Israel.
