PALM DESERT-- A grieving mother is looking for answers, when it comes to the recent death of her son.
Josh Tennis would be turning 30-years-old on Sunday. He was even planning on having a celebration. But now, his friends and family won't be going to his party, instead they'll be attending his funeral.
29-year-old Tennis was killed just before two in the afternoon on Monday, when police say his car collided with a Mercedes on Highway 74, then caught fire.
His mother Talia Kim says she's waiting for answers from investigators, into what exactly led to this crash. Witnesses say speeding is such a huge problem on this stretch of Highway 74.
Tennis was one of three sons. Kim says the whole family is in shock. The funeral will be held this Saturday from 5 to 9pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Cathedral City.
It's open to the public, and the family is accepting donations for funeral costs.
