Three Convicted in 2008 Double Homicide

RIVERSIDE - Three former marines , in two separate trials, were found guily in the 2008 killings of a Marine Sergeant and his wife at their Murrieta home.
Kevin Darnell Cox and Emrys John, both 25, along with 26 year old Tyrone Miller were found guilty in the home invasion robbery and murder of 24 year old Sgt. Janek Pietrzak .The jury also found the three guilty of sexual assault and killing of the sergeant's wife, Quiana Fay Jenkins-Pietrzak.
The three had seved with Sgt. Pietrzak at Camp Pendleton, and prosecutors claimed the robbery and slayings were retaliation for one of hte Marines being passed over for promotion by the sergeant.
A fourth defendant will go on trila in hte killing in August.
The three ex marines all face the death penalty, with jury deliberations beginning on Monday.
