Search for Robber in Palm Desert
Merchandise, not cash, targeted in morning robbery
PALM DESERT - Riverside County Sheriff's investigators are looking for leads in the robbery of a pharmacy on Thursday morning.
Invetigators tell KMIR that a man entered the CVS Pharmacy at Washington Street and Hovely Lane at about 11:15 a.m. The man went to a pharamacy counter and simulated a gun under his shirt, according to officers.
The man then escaped on foot with an unspecified amount of merchandise, but no cash.
The suspect is descierbied as a white male in his 30s, wearing a black shirt, black baseball cap, dark sunglasses and blue jeans.
