Children Can Get Free Lunch in July
PALM SPRINGS - Coachella Valley students under the age of 18 can receive free lunch at Agua Caliente Elementary School's Multipurpose Room from 12:30 - 1 p.m. weekdays July 5-29.
Free breakfast is also being served weekdays through July 8 as follows: Cathedral City High and Desert Hot Springs High, 8:30 to 9 a.m. and Katherine Finchy Elementary, 777 E. Tachevah, Palm Springs, 7 to 8 a.m. The Boys and Girls Club of Desert Hot Springs at 66150 8th Street, is also be providing free breakfast weekdays through Aug. 19 from 8 to 9 a.m.
Lunch service is also being provided through July 8 at: Cathedral City High and Desert Hot Springs High 11:30 a.m. to noon; and Katherine Finchy Elementary, 10 to 11 a.m. Community lunch locations, through Aug. 19 include: City of Palm Springs at Sunrise Park, 420 S. Sunrise, Palm Springs, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Desert Highland Center, 480 Tramview Road, Palm Springs, 1 to 2 p.m.; Boys & Girls Club of Desert Hot Springs, 66150 8th Street, 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.; Boys and Girls Club of Cathedral City, 32141 Whispering Palms Trail, noon to 1 p.m. and snack from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. and Thousand Palms Rec Center, noon to 1 pm. and snack from 4:45 to 5:15 p.m. Sites open weekdays through Aug. 12 for lunch include YMCA at Coyote Run, 3601 Sunrise Way, Palm Springs, noon to 1 p.m. and YMCA at Arroyo Paz, 66-765 Two Bunch Trail, Desert Hot Spring, noon to 1 p.m.
