PALM SPRINGS - A wanted parolee is on the run after leading police on a manhunt in Palm Springs.
The search began shortly before 4 p.m., when investigators with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department went to a home looking for the 43 year old Michael Kerwick. He is wanted for questioning due to several felonies. No details were given about the crimes.
Palm Springs police searched the area near Sierra Way and Caliente Road but after about 90 minutes police could not locate Kerwick.
Kerwick is described as a white man with a shaved head and blue eyes. He stands5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighs about 160.
Police are asking anyone who knows the where-a-bouts of Kerwick to call police.
