Actress Linda Christian Dies in Palm Desert
PALM DESERT - Linda Christian - a hollywoood starlet of the 1940's who was the first bond girl has died.
Christian died Friday here in Palm Desert after battling colon cancer. She was 87 years old.
She married Tyronne Power before acting in movies like Tarzan and the Mermaids and in 1954 she starred as James Bond's love interst in the television adaptation of Casino Royale.
Funeral arrangements are pending.
