June Foreclosures in the Coachella Valley
PALM DESERT - Good news in the housing market here in the Coachella Valley as foreclosures fell 25% in June.
The number of foreclosure filings fell to just under 1,300. There were over 1,700 filings in June 2010.
The report from Realty Trac shows that the Riverside-San Bernardino-Ontario area had the fifth-highest foreclosure rate in the nation.
One in 31 homes received a foreclosure filing in the region during the first half of the year. Riverside County posted the highest foreclosure rate of all counties in California.
