East Valley Murder Victim Identified
OASIS - We now know the name of the man who was found dead in a field over the weekend in the east valley.
28-year-old Steven Anthony Chavez of Thermal was found around 6:30 p.m. Sunday in an agricultural field near Harrison Street and Avenue 68.
Riverside County Homicide detectives have not released details on how Chavez died as the investigation continues.
