La Quinta Cliffhouse Lease Will Not Be Renewed
LA QUINTA - Its been around for nearly 2-decades and served up thousands of meals and memories but Friday we learned that the La Quinta Cliffhouse will not be renewing its lease.
The landlord is looking for a new operator to take over the restaurant which is tucked into a mountain on Highway 111 we are told there are some parties who are interested in the takeover.
Current owners will continue to operate the restaurant through the end of the year. The decision to not renew the lease reflects the company's desire to focus on its waterfront properties in Hawaii and here in California. The La Quinta Cliffhouse which opened in January 1992.
