Man Arrested For Waving Fake Gun
PALM SPRINGS - A Palm Springs man faces a number of charges including assault with a deadly weapon after police say he waved around a fake gun outside a home.
Sunday around 9:30 p.m. police were called to a home on San Lucas Road after the report of a man walking around with a gun.
When police arrived - they detained the suspect and found the gun, which was fake.
36 year old Robert Britz of Palm Springs was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon, criminal threats, brandishing a replica firearm, resisting arrest and elder abuse.
