Desert Ice Castle Grand Opening Sept. 9th
CATHEDRAL CITY - In less than 2 weeks - the coolest new recreational sports facility will open for business here in the Coachella Valley.
The Desert Ice Castle will officially open its doors Friday, September 9th.
The new ice skating rink in Cathedral City is located off Perez Road and Cathedral Canyon in the old Coca-Cola plant.
To mark the opening, the first 200 residents of Cathedral City will be allowed to skate for free.
Olympic figure skating coach Frank Carroll will serve as the Desert Ice Castle's director of figure skating.
