PALM DESERT - Right now, police are investigating a shooting in Palm Desert.
The shooting happened Sunday around 10 p.m.
According to police a man was walking down the street when several suspects began chasing him and then shot him in the buttocks.
People living in the area tell KMIR6 they are shocked by the shooting.
One neighborhood sent KMIR6 these photos of where the bullets hit their home. On their front patio the bullet bounced off the stucco and landed on their welcome mat- the shooting is still under investigation.
Police still have no suspects.
