Man Shot In Palm Springs Walmart Parking Lot
PALM SPRINGS - A man shot last night in the Palm Springs Walmart parking lot is currently in the ICU and is in stable condition. Police say the man was shot after an argument with a passing vehicle.
Witnesses said a passenger in the car drew a gun, and shot the man several times and then sped off. The victim was left to die in the parking lot. They then drove off in a dark colored newer model vehicle. They were traveling eastbound on Ramon Road.
Palm Springs Police Lieutenant Bryan Reyes said, "Our officers responded and actually arrived at Walmart within one minute, our officers arrived and found one male hispanic adult laying down in the parking lot with what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds to the torso area."
Palm Springs Police are searching for the suspects. Police are asking anyone with information to call them or Crimestoppers at 760-341-STOP.
