Protestors Gather for "Occupy Coachella Valley"
PALM DESERT - A movement against the Federal Reserve Bank and corporate greed in America has spread to the Coachella Valley.
About two dozen people with "Occupy Coachella Valley" rallied outside Congresswoman Mary Bono Mack's office in Palm Desert, Saturday.
Protesters are asking for Democrats and Republicans to stop fighting and come together to solve the nation's problems, such as high unemployment rates.
"Occupy Coachella Valley" organizers John-Paul Valdez and Jayle Aheram, are planning on holding more events.
A Palm Desert High School school student is also organizing an "Occupy Coachella Valley" movement, planned for October 22, at Indio City Hall.
