MECCA - Two big rigs collide forcing traffic to come to a standstill Monday on Highway 86.
The California Highway Patrol says the collision happened around 12:30 p.m. at 62nd Avenue in Mecca.
Northbound lanes were completely blocked and had to close following the crash.
Bales of hay littered the highway.
Both drivers suffered minor injuries in the collision - the cause of which is under investigation.
Northbound Highway 86 reopened around 3:30 p.m.
