INDIO - One person was flown by helicopter to a hospital in critical condition Tuesday after a rollover accident on I-10 in Indio.
The crash happened just before 8 a.m. near Golf Center Parkway on the transition from I-10.
Three cars were involved in the wreck.
Both sides of I-10 closed for a short time - as wreckage fell from the overpass down onto the interstate.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
