Measure K Debate in Coachella
COACHELLA - A half percentage point sales tax increase is on the November ballot in Coachella.
If approved, the increase would be on all retail sales.
The tax would increase from 7.5% to 8.5%.
Revenue from the tax would go to the city's general fund which would help create new parks and improve existing ones.
