3 robbers dressed in all black, wearing masks and bullet proof vests, carrying large rifles, barged into Leeds & Son jewelry store on El Paseo and ordered everyone to the ground.
Judie Brown saw the robbery unfold from the parking lot. She says the security guard ran inside Leeds, that's when she says she heard gunfire.
Deputy Angel Ramos says the security guard did open fire on the suspects but no one was hurt.
This isn't the first time this Leeds and Son was robbed. Just three months ago three men robbed the store and led police on a high speed pursuit that ended in Moreno Valley.
But this time around police got to the scene in just minutes and already the robbers were gone.
The get away car was found this afternoon in Palm Desert. The suspects are still on the lose and considered armed and very dangerous. If you see them police say stay away and call authorities.
