He was a known felon and after weeks of investigation the Riverside County Gang Task Force served a search warrant in a Desert Hot Springs.
They found assault weapons and methamphetamine, the man arrested, a known gang member with a significant criminal record. Authorities say they've been working on the case for several weeks.
The man arrested is Kenneth Steward. He was arrested early this morning at a home in Desert Hot Springs. Riverside County Sheriffs found 3 assault weapons and half a pound of methamphetamine.
Steward was taken to Indio Jail. His charges include drug trafficking and illegal weapons posession. The investigation is on going.
