PALM DESERT- The County of Riverside and Stater Bros. Supermarkets are joining forces to help fight hunger in our community.  Donate now and help feed those who need it most this holiday season.

With Riverside County's population at 14% unemployed and 14% living in poverty, our campaign to fight hunger in our region is just as crucial as ever and Riverside County food pantries are struggling to keep up with the increasing need for food.

In a combined effort to meet these urgent needs, the Riverside County Board of Supervisors is joining forces with Stater Bros. Supermarkets and, together, the Riverside County Food Drive with the Stater Bros. "Harvesting Hope in our Community" campaign will be helping local families who are faced with hunger this holiday season.

There are three ways you can help today:

One: Visit your local Riverside County Stater Bros Supermarket and donate non-perishable food items.

Two: Donate loose change at the "Harvesting Hope" donation boxes at each Stater Bros register, or purchase a Harvesting Hope scannable Donation Card. Each $10 donation will provide 30 full meals.

Or Three: Visit RcFoodDrive.org and make a cash donation. Imagine the impact it would make if every County of Riverside resident donated just 1 dollar.

All food and cash proceeds will benefit Riverside County food banks, pantries, and communities. Give the best gift of all and help stop hunger. For more information visit RCFoodDrive.org or call 951.955.6696.
