Bistro Saves Christmas For Fire Victims
Cello's Bistro worked to get donations and gave them away Thursday.
Children were able to grab toys and time with Santa. Earlier this month a fire ripped through a Cathedral City strip mall. Police say it was arson. Workers don't know what to say.
Police say 48 year old Jesus Abel Hernandez, an employee at La Michoacana, admitted to starting the fire to commit insurance fraud.
Enrique Cordoba owned a travel agency that burned in the blaze.
"I feel it's weird because he was my friend i feel sad as a person i feel bad for him," said Cordoba.
The fire damage is well over one million dollars.
