18-Month Old Child Dies in Car Accident
DESERT HOT SPRINGS - Saturday afternoon, Officers responded to a report of a child hit by a car. Upon Officer's arrival, the victim had already been transported by family members to Desert Regional Medical Center.
The 18-month old child has been confirmed dead at Desert Regional Medical Center. The victim was identified, Damien Rojas.
Desert Hot Springs Detectives and California Highway Patrol are investigating the accident.
