PALM SPRINGS - The Palm Springs Police Department is investigating the death of an unidentified man.
Investigators say the body of the adult male was found Thursday afternoon outside of the Riviera Hotel at 1600 North Indian Canyon Drive.
The man's body was located near some bushes on the perimeter of the hotel property. Police say there does not appear to be a relation to the deceased and the hotel.
Investigators say the man was most likely a transient. PSPD investigated the incident and notified the Riverside County Sheriff and Coroner.
The nature of the death does not appear to be suspicious or crime related at this time. The cause of death will be investigated by Coroner personnel.
